Sydney Environment Institute

The Sydney Environment Institute (SEI) at the University of Sydney aims to address the key questions of our time: how do we understand and redesign the fundamental relationship between human communities and the natural world that supports them; and how can people and societies adapt positively to environmental change?

The Institute offers a flexible and dynamic platform that will inform public discourse, decision-making, and policy in relation to the environment, an issue so critical to Make Tomorrow and one we are very passionate about.

Whilst at Extrablack the creative direction and visual expression of this was developed and was executed across multiple media including website, print media, video and photography, all working in tandem with a brand identity which had to fit in to a rigid Sydney University brand structure.

Much of the content developed by the institute includes varying aspects of environmental studies as well as news feeds, articles, events, publications, an EDM newsletter and social media channels, which made the website a key portal for connecting, updating and sharing with as wide an audience as possible.

Project completed whilst Creative Partner of Extrablack.
